So now after joining Barca, Fabregas had a chance to win a trophy in his career first Super Cup title as well as a third within the last two weeks. Europa League champions Porto will be opponents at the Stade de Los Cules Luis II, Saturday (27/08/2011) pm dawn later.
"This is my first away game with the team and I'm very pleased to be part of this great squad. Until recently, they treated me very well. I do not know whether we will lose or win, but with this team we can do everything," said Fabregas in the team's official website.
Regarding his opponent who has now left Porto coach Andre Villas-Boas and topskorernya last season, Radamel Falcao, Fabregas still rate them as a strong team and watch out for shoes. Even 24-year midfielder admitted if the style of play was almost similar to Porto with his team.
"I thought they possessed a style that is almost similar to us. They hold the ball a lot and did not want to play long balls. They played well and it will be difficult. We know they've won everything last season and they scored five goals against Villarreal in the 45 minutes, "said Fabregas.
